BEFORE COOKING:

We prepare a portion of pasta, keeping in mind that its volume doubles during cooking.

COOKING:

We add farfalle pasta to boiling salted water (1 liter of water for every 100g of pasta, 1 teaspoon of salt per 2 liters of water). Immediately stir to prevent the pasta from sticking to the pot walls. Depending on the manufacturer, the cooking time for farfalle is between 7 and 9 minutes. The exact cooking time can be checked on the package. Start timing from when the water boils again. Stir every 3–4 minutes. Do not cover the pot. Taste to check if the pasta is al dente – it should be tender yet firm.

AFTER COOKING:

Once the pasta is cooked, quickly drain it in a colander.

SERVING SUGGESTION:

Serve with your favorite sauce and drizzle with olive oil to taste. Farfalle pasta tastes great with thick sauces that include generous chunks of various ingredients.

Enjoy your meal!
