BEFORE COOKING:

We prepare a portion of pasta, remembering that its volume doubles during cooking.

COOKING:

We add the fettuccine pasta to boiling salted water (1 liter of water for every 100g of pasta, 1 teaspoon of salt per 2 liters of water). Immediately stir to prevent the pasta from sticking to the pot. Depending on the manufacturer, the cooking time for fettuccine is between 8 and 10 minutes. Check the package for the exact cooking time. Start timing once the water returns to a boil. Stir every 3–4 minutes. Do not cover the pot. Taste to check if the pasta is al dente – it should be tender yet firm.

AFTER COOKING:

Once the pasta is cooked, drain it quickly in a colander.

SERVING SUGGESTION:

Serve fettuccine with your favorite sauce and drizzle with olive oil to taste. Fettuccine goes well with creamy, light sauces without large pieces of meat or vegetables.

Enjoy your meal!
