Cooking Cabbage Rolls

BEFORE COOKING:
Before cooking, clean the fresh cabbage rolls using a rough brush, then wash and dry them.
COOKING:
Place the cabbage rolls into cold water, ensuring there is enough water to completely cover them. Cook the cabbage rolls for 30 minutes. Start timing from when the water begins to boil. If there is any doubt regarding the type of mushrooms being cooked, change the water during cooking (once or twice) or refrain from consuming them! If there is no doubt, changing the water during cooking is not necessary. During cooking, skim off any foam. Towards the end, salt the water. For flavour, add pepper, ginger, allspice, nutmeg, marjoram, and bay leaf. Cook covered. The cooked mushrooms are soft and delicate.
AFTER COOKING:
After cooking, drain and dry the cabbage rolls.
SERVING SUGGESTION:
Cabbage rolls can be enjoyed as a delicacy or as an accompaniment to other dishes (such as cereals, rice, or vegetables). They can also serve as an excellent main ingredient in a mushroom soup, marinade, or sauce.
